Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Dr. Dre Shoot Down Tupac Hologram Tour Rumors?

On the final day of Coachella, Dr. Dre made a video to thank all of his fans for their support during his two shows at the festival. In the video, Dr. Dre shoots down rumors that the Tupac Hologram was created to go on tour, but does leave the door open for future opportunities, saying: “I want to get rid of all the rumors out there. This was not done for a tour. If a tour happens, we’ll see. This was done strictly for Coachella 2012.” Check out the video below: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwjkaMJVwus&w=560&h=315] Hmm, this sure doesn’t sound like the door is closed on this one. The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Dre and Snoop were plotting a tour involving themselves and the holographic ‘Pac, which reportedly cost between $100,000 and $400,000 to produce.
