Producer AraabMUZIK Hospitalized After Being Shot During Robbery Attempt

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop producer Abraham Orellana (aka AraabMUZIK) was shot Wednesday evening apparently during an attempted robbery. The associate of Cam’Ron’s Dipset crew is currently recovering in the hospital according to the musician’s manager DukeDaGod. A photo of AraabMUZIK in a hospital bed surrounded by friends was posted on DukeDaGod’s Instagram with the caption, “Everyone wish my brother @araabmuzik a healthy & pleasant recovery!!!! #Mvpofthempc #Soblessed.” Araab’s publicist issued a statement to Billboard stating that he was a “victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time” and is “currently alive and well.” Police are investigating the incident. AraabMUZIK’s list of production credits includes Lloyd Banks’ “1,2,3 Grind,” 50 Cent’s “Murder One,” Slaughterhouse’s “Hammer Dance,” Fabolous’ “Beauty,” and numerous tracks on projects by members of Dipset. Araab is most well-known for his crafting of drum patterns using an MPC. The Providence, Rhode Island native began playing drums at the age of three, and producing tracks at 10. Full Lineup Revealed For Austin’s Three-Day “Fun Fun Fun Fest”; Run-DMC, De La Soul, A$AP Rocky And More On Bill

(AllHipHop News) Several days after it was announced that Run-DMC would be reuniting at this November’s 7th annual Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas, organizers have revealed the event’s full lineup. In addition to the reunion of Rev Run and DMC, who have not performed together in over a decade, Fun Fun Fun Fest will also include performances from the likes of De La Soul, A$AP Rocky, Bun B, AraabMUZIK, Santigold, Rakim, Danny Brown, Kreayshawn, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Schoolboy Q, comedian Hannibal Burress, and many more. Graham Williams, Founder and Producer of Fun Fun Fun Fest, said of the event, “We book fun fun fun fest, like a festival we’d want to go to and we’d want to see. Adding Run-DMC this year, just put it over the top and made that dream come true.” The three day festival, which is set to take place on November 2-4, still has more announcements to make in August and September regarding additional performers. Bow Wow Reveals Tracklist for Cash Money Debut, “Underrated”

(AllHipHop News) Bow Wow took to his blog yesterday (February 1) to reveal the tracklist for his upcoming Cash Money records debut album, Underrated. The 17-track album currently boasts features from the likes of Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Ace Hood, Jadakiss, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Miguel, Chris Brown, and Musiq Soulchild. Production on the album was handled by Cardiak, Jahlil Beats, Drumma Boy, AraabMUZIK, No I.D., and more. In addition to the revealing of the Underrated tracklist, and the announcement that the deluxe addition of the album will features appearances from Boyz II Men and Machine Gun Kelly, Bow Wow also released the music video for his Lil Wayne assisted single, “Sweat”. (AllHipHop News) The 2012 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has just revealed, via Twitter, some iconic, Hip-Hop surprises for their upcoming, two-weekend long festival. On the final day of each of the weekend’s lineups, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will be headlining. No word on what specific albums or songs their sets will include.
