(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lil Eazy E has been forced to issue a statement, after reports surfaced that he was killed in a car crash. The confusion started when Texas authorities mistakingly identified Lil Eazy, born Eric Wright Jr., as a casualty in a fiery car crash, in East Texas, that claimed the lives of eight people. “My heart is heavy with grieve over the loss of my loved one,” Lil Eazy told AllHipHop.com. “I thank all of you for your sentiments and ask that you pray for my family as we deal with this very difficult and painful occurrence.” Lil Eazy’s name was listed on the rental agreement, resulting in the early confusion. Police do not know who was at fault in the crash, which occurred on a remote stretch of road about 100 miles outside of Dallas on Friday (December 30). All four occupants in the car associated with Lil Eazy were killed, as were the occupants of the other vehicle, which included a 29-year-old woman, an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old and a 10-month-old.
