Rapper Devin The Dude, Lil Duval Get Smoked Out In “Highway”
(AllHipHop News) Houston rap veteran Devin The Dude will entertain audiences around the country, with the upcoming release of the comedic film/DVD “Highway.” The comedy, which was directed by Coke Daniels, also stars popular comedian Lil Duval. “Highway” tells the story of two marijuana smoking friends were looking for a highway that leads to “marijuana nirvana.” “He’s one of the coolest most humble people I’ve ever met in my life, and I think he’s definitely got a future in acting,” director Coke Daniels said. On Tuesday (November 13), it will be featured on the soundtrack to “Highway.” A variety of unreleased material from Devin The Dude appears on the “Highway” soundtrack along with tunes from rappers like Asher Roth, UGK, Tha Dogg Pound, David Banner, 2Chainz, Slim Thug Curren$y and others. “I think Devin’s fans will love the soundtrack,” says Daniels. “It’s more of what Devin has given them consistently over the course of his career: good-time, weed-smoking Hip-Hop.”

(AllHipHop News) With a June 5 release date fast approaching, Def Jam recording artist Big K.R.I.T. has officially unveiled the tracklisting for his major label debut, Live From the Underground. K.R.I.T. enlisted a number of well-known Southern rappers for the album, some of which include Devin the Dude, 2 Chainz, Ludacris, and Bun B. Live From the Underground will also feature singers Melanie Fiona and Anthony Hamilton, as well as an appearance from legendary Blues guitarist B.B.
