Future Talks Debut Effort “Pluto”

(AllHipHop News) Atlanta artist Future sat down with AllHipHop.com to break down his debut effort on Epic Records titled Pluto. Describing his style as “Pluto Music,” Future explained to AllHipHop.com that the effect often used on his voice has a lot to do with the way he talks. ” A lot of people don’t understand that’s how I talk sometimes, and it’s just my regular voice,” Future told AllHipHop in an exlcusive interview. “Sometimes it’s that effect gives it that little bit extra meaning, and it adds the spice on the words. Sometimes when you trying to get in the lyrics and you’re trying to come across and you are trying to make your point, you might need that extra spice on it, just so it comes across to the people.” Future has also put together a star studded line up for his first album. Joining Future on his journey to Pluto are T.I., Drake, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and singer R Kelly. Future also took time to clear the air on any possible issues with the Young Money camp, specifically Lil’ Wayne and Drake. Despite the support fellow rappers have shown Future, several months ago, Future regarded Drake’s no-show for the “Tony Montana,” video as “a slap in the face.” Future has since disregarded Drake’s failure to attend as merely business and nothing personal. “Me and Drake, we good, we A1. Like with everything, we learned how to make the personal stuff be personal, and like the business, we let the lawyers and the management figure it out,” Future told AllHipHop.com. “We gonna move on from it, and we understand that we can’t let a mistake stop us from making history together and what we got to do to make the air clear and make money together and go on tours together. And I can’t let that stop me or my personal life.” Future explained that he wanted to maintain positive relationships throughout his career and he understands that some things are out of the artists hands. “For the better of my future, it’s about not burning bridges, ’cause I’ve been in the industry for two years and I want to have a long lasting career for 10 years,” Future explained. “And you don’t want to start off by getting into it with an artist for not even a issue out my hands or his, and it wasn’t his call or my call, and it was out of both of our hands.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Drake Lose His VIBE Cover For Acting Like A Diva?

Rumor has it Drake was supposed to be on the cover of the February issue of VIBE , but he came to the set eight hours late and refused to cooperate with the styling for the issue. VIBE contributor Lola Ogunnaike revealed: “He was slated to appear on the cover of VIBE magazine to accompany this story [The Dark Side of Aubrey Graham]. But he fouled that up when he arrived more than eight hours late to the shoot and refused to wear any of the wardrobe provided for him.” “He brought his own clothes, which was mostly Hemès and leather bomber jackets,” revealed a source at the shoot. “But it was a shoot about spring fashion. He was going on and on about wearing his leather bomber, and wasn’t letting it go. He said the [female] stylist was too aggressive, that he wasn’t a model and he wasn’t feeling the vibe. He hopped in his SUV and left.” Do you think Drake had a good reason to walk out n the shoot? One man’s loss is another man’s gain…or in this case – woman! Nicki Minaj ended up scoring the cover instead. Check out Nicki’s cover below:

Chase N. Cashe Speaks On Recording With “Club Paradise” Tourmates; Possible Project In the Works

(AllHipHop News) Chase N. Cashe took some time to speak to AllHipHop.com while on his tour bus, which is currently traveling nationwide as part of the “Club Paradise Tour” with Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and A$AP Rocky. The rapper and producer’s recent mixtape, The Heir Up There, has been getting some great feedback since its release, including our own 8/10 review. Chase was eager to share some information with us about some of the amazing collaborations he’s got in the stash that he cannot wait for the world to hear. When asked about an actual collaborative project or EP with his tour mates, Chase said “Definitely. I’m trying to put it together. With me being the sole producer on the tour, I’m definitely trying to put that sh*t together. Me and [A$AP] Rocky talk all the time. Rock and [A$AP] Yams are very creative people and they’re working on the A$AP Mob compilation, and I’ll be working with them and producing on that sh*t. I got some joints with Kendrick [Lamar] that will be coming out on his sh*t too. You know, we got the set up so we’re trying to put something together and then we just have to get the big dog Drake to come off the stage one time and give us a verse.” Since the project and music has a “larger than life” feel to it, just based on the artists that are collaborating, AllHipHop.com asked Chase to clarify on how much of a reality the project actually was. “This sh*t is all real. I’m definitely going to put it out there that at the very least, I’m sure we’re going to have a song or songs made from this tour that will definitely hit the Internet and do what they do.” Beyond the prospect of releasing a project with all four MC’s, Chase also spoke on the work that he and his producing partner Hit-Boy have been cooking up, both as individuals and as a duo. “Right now we’re doing Kent Money’s project, also Hit-Boy got some sh*t coming, I got some more sh*t coming; I’m always working. We’re really going to try and put a compilation together with everybody but I can’t really put a date no on that sh*t because everybody in Surf Club is individually out touring and doing their own thing.” “I’m going to keep it real,” Chase continued, “I think me and Hit-Boy both have got some stuff on Kendrick Lamar’s album, and I definitely want people to hear that sh*t. I got some sh*t coming with Wiz Khalifa. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it goes through, but that sh*t is a banger for real for real! Even if it just comes out to come out, he’s a talent that I like to work with and he’s interesting. I possibly got some stuff with Big Sean, but I know Hit-Boy has some bangers with Sean coming. I’ve got something coming with him on the rap side and, man, just a lot of sh*t in general.” In regards to new artists that Chase is preparing to work with, there is a lot of new talent like “L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Alley Boy, Trouble from Atlanta, Casey Veggies, Skeme from California, Troy Ave., that’s my guy, me and him are going to put out a project together, too.”
