(AllHipHop News) News that 14-year-old Jaden Smith was hoping for complete independence from his parents broke earlier this week, but now Jaden and his father, Will Smith, are saying there is no chance that the young actor/rapper will be living on his own anytime soon. [ALSO READ: Jaden Smith Wants To Be Emancipated From Will & Jada] “I’m not going anywhere,” Jaden told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her show yesterday. “I can get anything and everything that I want at [Will’s] house, so I think I’m going to be there for 20, 30 more years.” Will claims that the quote credited to him that started the story of Jaden asking for emancipation was a misunderstanding. “I think I made a joke in Tokyo,” said Will. “No, no emancipation for the Smith kids.” “[Will] says as soon as I have a movie that’s bigger than one of his movies I can get my own house,” joked Jaden. Both Smiths will appear in the new movie After Earth opening May 31st.
