Pusha T Gives Lecture At Harvard Business School, Professor Spits Pusha T Bars During Q&A

(AllHipHop News) Life for Pusha T seems to be as G.O.O.D. as it can get with his life as an executive taking off on multiple fronts. Yesterday (March 31st) Pusha T, President of G.O.O.D. Music, pulled up on Harvard University where he conducted a lecture at Harvard Yard & Yenching Library followed by a 45-minute discussion with those in attendance. The former Clipse rapper, spoke about the political impact of his music and the role he plays as a successful African-American musician. Addressing African-American societal issues, drug dealing and life as a music executive, the Virginia bred rapper told his whole story. [RELATED: No Malice Speaks On Leaving Rap And His Faith With the Breakfast Club] During the lecture one of the professors at Harvard, quoted Pusha T’s lyrics from his raps drawing laughs from the students. According to an official statement from the rapper’s camp, “Pusha T spoke about his role as a popular musician and the responsibility to use his music not just as a message of redemption for the African- American community, but as a tool that must be used responsibly for social justice.” He discussed the importance of generating songs about matters that have a larger platform given the artists’ influence.
