Jay-Z, Beyoncé, & Other Celebrities Personal Info Exposed On Website

(AllHipHop News) As one of the most famous couples in the world, Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s private lives are constantly under public scrutiny, but now the two superstars are among a handful of celebrities whose personal financial information has been thrown into the public sphere as well. According to TMZ, besides Jay-Z and Beyoncé, the social security numbers, mortgage reports, credit card data, banking statements, and other information of Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, FBI Director Robert Mueller, and Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck were also posted on an undisclosed Internet site. Billboard reports that the Twitter handle associated with the website where the information was revealed also contained an anti-police message written in Russian. The page featuring LAPD Chief Beck included the phrase “#YouCantCornerTheDorner” referring to former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner who went on a killing spree last month mostly targeting other LAPD officers after he felt he was unfairly removed from the force. Dorner has become somewhat of a cult figure and a symbol of the fight against police corruption in some circles. [ALSO READ: Supporters For Christopher Dorner Rally Against LAPD] “People get mad at us, go on the Internet and try to find information about us, and post it all on one site,” said Los Angeles police Commander Andrew Smith. The hackers did not explain how they received the information of any of the victims or why those particular individuals were chosen as targets. The FBI and the LAPD have both announced that they will open respective investigations about the leaks.

Mobb Deep’s Havoc Possibly Hacked; Goes In On Prodigy

(AllHipHop News$ fans of Mobb Deep were awakened to several tweets suggesting the group has broken up. A series of insulting tweets appeared on Havoc’s Twitter page this morning, directed at group member Prodigy. The tweets appear to be the work of a hacker according to reps for Mobb Deep, although it has not been confirmed if Havoc lost control of his account or not. The angry insults on the page included claim that Prodigy had homosexual relationships while he was in jail, as well as delusions of marrying Rihanna. Fans of the group reacted to the tweets, immediately, with most believing they are the work of an imposter. The poster insisted it was actually Havoc, but it seems unlikely, since the group just hosted a performance at SXSW in March. Mobb Deep is also working on a reunion album, following the release of their critically acclaimed EP Black Cocaine. Mobb Deep’s manager did not comment on the tweets and as of press time, neither has their publicist.

Department of Justice, Major Websites Shutdown In Protest Of Megaupload Charges

(AllHipHop News) The battle over Megaupload.com rages on, with a number of updates in the hours since the popular file trading service was shut down by the United States authorities. “Hacktivist” group Anonymous has already targeted the United States Department of Justice’s website, by knocking it off line, as of press time. An Anonymous group in Sweden took responsibility for taking down the DOJ’s website, in protest of the Megaupload.com shutdown. Other websites have been targeted by Anonymous as well, including the MPAA’s website, Universal Music and The RIAA’s website. The FBI.gov website is the next target for the group. The websites were shutdown in protest of the massive copyright infringement and racketeering charges brought against Megaupload.com and its top executives. The website is accused of being complicit in costing copyright holders over $500 million in damages, while raking in over $175 million in illegal proceeds. Additionally, Megaupload.com is accused of money laundering and racketeering in relation to the $175 million in revenue that was generated by the 13th most popular website in the world. “This action is among the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought by the United States,” the Justice Department said in a statement In addition to hundreds of millions of dollars in cash, police have seized Kim Dotcom’s expensive Maserati’s, Mercedes-Benz’s and other luxury vehicles. Superstar Hip-Hop producer Swizz Beatz, who is married to singer Alicia Keys, is listed as the CEO of the company, but he is yet to make a statement on the incident.
