Murs and 9th Wonder Unite One Last Time for “The Final Adventure”

L.A. MC Murs and producer 9th Wonder will be going their separate ways musically soon, but not before releasing The Final Adventure. The pair’s fifth LP hits stores November 13 and will bring an end to a critically-acclaimed series of collabos which included underground favorites MURS 3:16: The 9th Edition and Murray’s Revenge. 9th Wonder recently took to Twitter to proclaim that two are still close friends, noting that both wish to seek other endeavors, including more collaborations with other artists. “We have things to do… we have bigger dreams than our albums…and we are best friends and brothers…that means much more,” 9th Wonder tweeted. Known for his tireless work ethic, Jamla Records’ founding producer 9th Wonder, will also be releasing his third collabo, The Solution, with Duck Down Records MC Buckshot on the same day as his Final Adventure with Murs. Rapsody [BGA] Reveals Tracklisting For Debut LP “The Idea Of Beautiful”; Features Include Phonte, Mac Miller And More

(AllHipHop News) North Carolina native Rapsody has announced details regarding her upcoming debut album, The Idea of Beautiful, which is scheduled for release on August 28 via Jamla Records. The Breeding Ground artist and protege of 9th Wonder has assembled Raekwon, Ab-Soul, Big Rube, Raheem DeVaughn, BJ the Chicago Kid, Mac Miller, The Cool Kids, and Phonte, among others to feature on The Idea of Beautiful. Production on the album is set to come from Khrysis, Ka$h, Amp, E. Jones, Eric G and, of course, 9th Wonder. 9th Wonder Talks About SXSW, Updates Fans on Plans with Jamla Label

(AllHipHop News) Famed North Carolina producer 9th Wonder spoke with AllHipHop.com about his upcoming projects during the 2012 SXSW music conference. 9th, who performed at New York’s Hot 97/L.A.’s Power 106’s “Who’s Next Battle for the Best MC” hit the stage with his breakout artist Rapsody. After the show, 9th Wonder explained his plans for his label It’s a Wonderful World Music Group, an imprint under the Jamla Records umbrella. “This is my first time [at SXSW],” AllHipHop.com in an exclusive interview. “I’m just saying what’s up to everybody man, its definitely an experience…It’s Hip-Hop heaven man, rock heaven, too man. ” When asked what collaborations he had coming up, 9th left open any number of possibilities. “You never know what collaborations may come from SXSW, sometimes artists have to run into each other to work with each other and thats cool, you just never know until you come out here,” the producer/rapper said. 9th said that he has been primarily focused on his labelband the femcee Rapsody. “I’m focused on my label, It’s a Wonderful World Music Group,” 9th Wonder told AllHipHop.com when asked about what he has been working on. “My man HaLo, Remo, TP, Heather Victoria, Rapsody, so thats what we doing, I got some stuff coming soon.”
