Man, Woman, Dog Shot As Lil Flip Performs During 4/20 Concert

(AllHipHop News) Two revelers celebrating the marijuana holiday “4/20” were shot as rapper Lil Flip performed at a show in Denver, Colorado. Thousands had gathered in Civic Center Park in Denver to celebrate, since marijuana has been legalized in Colorado. Around 5:00pm, witnesses reported hearing four or five shots and a man, his dog and a woman were struck, as Lil Flip performed, according to reports. “I saw him fall, grabbing his leg,” witness Travis Craig told The Associated Press. “He was just screaming that he was in pain, and wanted to know where his girlfriend was. She was OK. And then the cops showed up real quick, like, less than a minute. They put him on ambulance and left.” The police presence was heavy due to the 80,000 attendees who were expected to attend the weekend celebration. “I am just grateful that no one was seriously hurt…,” Lil Flip tweeted. Police are seeking two suspects in the shooting, which was captured on aerial footage.

Arrest Warrant Issued For Lil Flip

(AllHipHop News) A Louisiana judge has issued an arrest warrant for Houston rapper Lil Flip. The “Game Over” performer did not show up to a scheduled court hearing and was held in contempt of court according to a report by TMZ. Flip was originally arrested in December of last year after police in Mansfield, Louisiana pulled him over for speeding. Authorities then found a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle and allegedly marijuana in his vehicle. GOOGLE OFFICER#9845 DENNIS, BUCKINGHAM IN MANSFIELD ,LOUISIANA I HAVE A GUN LICENSE..????” said Flip. “AND BLACK N MILD GUTS AIN’T GANJA???? ME SAVAGE BEEN OUT SINCE YESTER DAY…IF MY GUN WAS A PROBLEM WHY IS IT STILL IN MY TRUNK.. IT’S ALL GOOD.” Flip later sent TMZ a copy of his Texas concealed handgun license and claimed that it is valid in Louisiana and 21 other states. He also told the website, “I know they don’t mess around in Louisiana, and I wouldn’t do anything to make me go to the big house.” In February, Flip pled not guilty to the charges of possession of a firearm, possession of a schedule 1 narcotic, and speeding. Apparently, Flip was unaware of the most recent court hearing and is working with his attorneys to settle the matter.

(AllHipHop News) Houston, Texas rapper Lil Flip has been released from a jail in Louisiana, after he was arrested with an assault rifle and a small amount of marijuana. Lil Flip was arrested on December 26, after police stopped his 2010 Dodge Challenger for driving 86 mph in a 75 mile-per-hour zone. When police searched the vehicle, they found a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle, and a small amount of marijuana. Lil Flip was charged with a variety of offenses, including possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. The rapper was released from the DeSoto Detention Center in Mansfield, Louisiana yesterday, on $35,000 bond. He took to Twitter and blasted the arresting officer. “#FRESHOUT????
