Massachusetts Department of Children and Families Opens New Case on Lil’ Poopy

(AllHipHop News) Being one of the youngest rappers in the game is proving to be an issue for the Brockton, Massachusetts fourth-grade rapper known as Lil’ Poopy. According to reports, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) has opened a new case on the miniature sized rapper, born Luis Rivera Jr, now 10 years old. Despite closing a two month long investigation in April, the DCF has opened a new case after Poopy’s videographer and producer, Brian Slay,  was pulled over by Brockton police and the car smelled like marijuana According to police, the young rapper and his videographer were approached by Brockton Police after they pulled into a McDonald’s after midnight earlier this week. [ALSO READ: Brockton Police Call Child Services On Nine-Year-Old Rapper’s Father] Although the police did not find any marijuana, the routine traffic stop has now turned into an investigation into the young rapper’s family after Lil Poopy was in the car with Slay. When they saw ‘Lil Poopy’ in the car, it escalated from a routine stop to harassment,” said Joseph Krowski, Lil Poopy’s attorney. “Why this warrants an investigation is just as perplexing as the last time.” Lil’ Poopy’s rise to fame began after a series of controversial videos caused Brockton police to investigate Poopy’s family for abuse and neglect in February of this year. Proclaiming to be a “Coke Boy,” the French Montana prepubescent protegé raised eyebrows earlier this year when he was seen slapping women’s backsides in a night club setting, rapping, “coke ain’t a bad word.” More news as details emerge. YouTube Removes Rapper Lil Poopy Video Due To Child Services

(AllHipHop News) Less than three days after Brockton, Massachusetts police filed for a Department of Children and Families investigation of Luis Rivera “Lil Poopy” Jr.’s material, one of the nine-year old rapper’s videos has been removed from YouTube. The video, entitled “Lil Poopy getting it in” contained Poopy Jr’ in sexually suggestive situations with women in a nightclub. YouTube initially simply gave the video a content warning reading ““This video may be inappropriate for some users” along with age verification late Tuesday (Feb 26) afternoon. According to Brockton newspaper The Enterprise, shortly after an email they sent to YouTube about the video’s content warning is when the video hosting site took the video down. The details of the video included French Montana’s protegé being vocally encouraged to slap a woman’s butt by surrounding adults while the woman s bent over in front of him. In another part of the video a woman is seen gyrating on the nine-year old MC. On Monday (February 25), Poopy’s father, Luis Rivera’s lawyer  Joseph Krowski Jr called the video “urban authentic” and “well done” while denying any criminality. In an odd twist of logic, Poopy’s most viewed video is “Pop That Remix Lil Poopy” at a current total of 428,933 views and involves Lil Poopy slapping a woman’s butt as well. “Lil Poopy getting it in” had under 10,000 views by the time it was removed from YouTube. Brockton Police Call Child Services On Nine-Year-Old Rapper’s Father

(AllHipHop News) Brockton, MA fourth grader, 9-year-old Luis Rivera Jr has assumed the rapper moniker Lil Poopy and placed his father in some trouble with local police. Brockton police have filed a 51A against Lil Poopy’s father, Luis Rivera Sr., which allows the Department of Children and Families to investigate allegations of child abuse and/or neglect. In various YouTube videos, the prepubescent rapper is videotaped having an older woman gyrate on him, partying in nightclubs where alcohol is served and referring to himself as a “coke boy.”   Lil Poopy’s numerous music videos involving scantily clad women was “a bit much for a 9-year-old,” according to Brockton police Lt. David Dickinson. Lil Poopy is affiliated with Cocaine City founder/CEO, French Montana and released a mixtape entitled Coke Ain’t A Bad Word in October of 2012. Luis Rivera Sr claims his son is doing nothing wrong and likens his on-video butt slapping to celebration maneuvers in sports. “When you hit a home run, when you go to the bleachers, they tap you on the butt,” Rivera said. The father of the French Montana prodigy claims his son makes $7,500 a performance and that he has contacted his legal representation in regards to the matter. Brockton community activist, Ollie Jay Spears claimed he had to turn off one of  the video after a while because it was disgusting. “With the girl bent over and the other girl grinding into him, a 9-year-old with stacks of money and rapping about glorifying the drug trade, and demeaning women? A kid at the third- or fourth-grade level, talking about coke? It’s not entertaining. That’s borderline child abuse.” Check below to view one of Lil Poopy’s videos , his remix to his mentor French Montana’s “Pop That” single: [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Hi2cTlz4Gs]
