Common Rocks Case-Mate’s Show During New York Fashion Week
In the midst of New York Fashion Week, Common took over the Best Buy Theater in Times Square to promote Case-Mate, a cutting-edge designer of accessories for mobile devices. The event was co-hosted by Fergie and Quddus with beats provided by DJ Mia Moretti. A crowd of roughly 2,000 rocked and swayed to a string of classic tracks encompassing the Chi-Town rapper’s expansive discography – from Can I Borrow a Dollar? (1992) to The Dreamer/The Believer (2011). The crowd’s enthusiastic sing-along to “The Light” served as one of the highlights of Common’s performance set.
