(AllHipHop News) Apparently femcee Lil Kim is sick and tired of talking about rap rival Nicki Minaj. Kim called into the Hot 97’s The Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg Show this week to introduce her new artist Tiffany Foxx, but the second question Rosenberg asked Kim was about Minaj. “Let me tell you something. I’m about to shut you down right now,” Kim directs at Rosenberg. “This is about Tiffany Foxx. And this about I.R.S., Queen Bee.” Rosenberg tried to defend his question saying that he most likely would have faced criticism for not bringing up the subject, but Kim gave the radio host some advice on how to handle his possible critics. “You don’t have to succumb to the b#######,” says Kim. “I’m not going to sit here and keep talking about it.” Rosenberg then offered to mediate the long-standing feud between the two female rap stars. “I’m going to bring everyone together,” says Rosenberg. “What? No you’re not. You don’t even believe that yourself,” responds Kim. “You don’t even like her. So stop it.” Rosenberg had an infamous spat with Minaj in 2012. After Rosenberg made comments about her song “Starships” at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, Minaj and the rest of Young Money pulled themselves from the show. [ALSO READ: Peter Rosenberg Responds to Nicki Minaj Controversy, ‘Not Sorry’] In the interview, Kim then goes on to scold Rosenberg for trying to create tension between female rappers instead of focusing on their talents. “This is the reason why females can’t do this. You have a nice shot at helping to introduce somebody who is a new artist and very special,” says Kim. “And you wanna bring in some mess. Don’t do that.” Tiffany Foxx has been working with Lil Kim for several months. The St. Louis native recently released the video for her song “Twisted” featuring a verse from Lil Kim and an appearance by pop singer Miley Cyrus. “Twisted” is off Foxx’s debut mixtape Yellow Tape. HIP-HOP RUMORS: PUSHA-T SAYS LIL’ WAYNE’S DISS RECORD WAS “TRASH”
Bad Boy’s resident “wild boy,” MGK, has recently confessed in an interview with HOT 97’s Peter Rosenberg that he was on the verge of getting dropped by Bad Boy Records AND his management, because of his “bad attitude.” Check out what he said below. “I was going to get shelved by the label and my management was going to leave because I have the worst attitude in the world.” The rapper also revealed that he has been on a “three week and four day [streak] of sobriety of anger” because of all of his recent trouble with losing his temper, and says that his team recently got him security, not to keep him safe, but to keep him from hurting other people. Sheesh! MGK was in a sharing mood, because he also shared that he almost got kicked off of the Tech N9ne tour as well and has five lawsuits filed against him for fighting! Machine Gun Kelly was also recently banned from NYC’s Highline Ballroom for allegedly attacking a bouncer with a bottle back in January, or as he put it, “I’ve been wrongfully stereotyped because of a b####### story.” Damn, dude, get your stuff together! Check out the full interview below. The “anger management” talk starts at the 12:07 mark: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-RmPM25_YA&w=560&h=315] Did he really say Motley Crew would be f*cking a girl in the lobby while she sniffed cocaine off his penis?! Wow, MGK is really a “wild boy!”
After a disastrous stint on VH1 reality show, “Couples Therapy,” DMX’s long suffering wife announced that after 14 years of marriage, she was filing for divorce. DMX, who was just announced as one of the headliners for the “Rock The Bells” tour, has had his business affairs in order as of late and recently released a mixtape. Unfortunately, a recent interview with HOT 97’s Peter Rosenburg has some people jumping to the conclusion that he is back on drugs. Check out the video interview below and judge for yourself: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4s9jtrFRPYM&w=560&h=315] What do you think? I want to see DMX get back to his glory days, so let’s all hope that maybe he was just tired the day of the interview.
PETER ROSENBERG GETS AT NICKI MINAJ IN A DIFFERENT WAY!
(AllHipHop News) After a media firestorm, his name becoming a trending topic, and after Young Money artist Nicki Minaj cancelled her performance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, Peter Rosenberg has taken the time to speak out about his recent comments on the Summer Jam stage. In an interview with TMZ, Peter Rosenberg elaborated on his comments made about Nicki’s song “Starships”, while introducing Kendrick Lamar on the Summer Jam stage. “Basically it was the festival stage, which is traditionally the more underground stage, up and comer stage, and I went out there to introduce Kendrick Lamar from Compton, and you know, I just said if you are not about that ‘Starships” crap and you are about the real stuff – and I’m editing a bit, I’m about the real Hip-Hop. Let’s bring Kendrick Lamar,” Rosenberg explained to TMZ. Rosenberg appeared to be surprised by the social media backlash after having made similar, if not worse, comments about the song in the past. “Why would she listen to me? I’m a Jewish kid from the suburbs of Maryland who grew up on hip-hop and loves hip-hop. And I take it seriously. But it’s just an opinion, man. I don’t hate Nicki Minaj. I don’t have any beef with her at all,” Rosenberg told TMZ. Since Rosenberg’s comments, Nicki Minaj has scheduled a free concert for her fans in the New York and New Jersey area.
