NEW MUSIC BY R MEAN
The Annihilating East Coast Rapper Joins The Ranks On “PICTURES” For week 22 of #MeanMonday R-Mean joins forces with none other than Joe Budden, a well known rapper who isn’t afraid to speak his mind. The two emcees did just that on this weeks release, “Pictures”. On the record, the two rappers talk about self-awareness and lost identities. Social media is a huge staple in today’s society, and in the song R-Mean stresses that with all the pictures people take they still don’t know who they are. R-Mean is warning his fans to never get lose who they, and if they have, try your hardest to learn who you are as an individual.
Check out R-Means latest record featuring The Game. Open Wounds, is a song dedicated to exposing the atrocities committed by the Ottoman Empire (modern day Turkey) in 1915 in which they attempted to annihilate the Armenian people, expresses the despair and sadness of what his ancestors faced in their fight to survive. Check it out below. R-Mean has been making some noise with his weekly Mean Monday series. Last week R-Mean performed at the annual Armenian Genocide remembrance event in Glendale, CA. Hundreds of people were wearing his 1915 Our Wounds Are Still Open T-Shirt. Check the pics out below.
“I killed Sway like 10 times where you at Flex”? Hallelujah. Week 14 of “Mean Mondays” is finally here and as promised R-Mean has released his 14th installment entitled Hallelujah, for his 52-week-long series. Just in case anybody’s wondering, yes, it’s a hit. Alongside R-Mean on the track is Joe Peshi. The flow of each emcee goes together perfectly, so it’s guaranteed to heat up the streets this summer. Funk Master Flex’s name is mentioned in the first verse. Flex is known for promoting breakthrough artist, so R-Mean said “I killed Sway like 10 times where you at Flex”. Don’t be mistaken it’s not a diss, just a “knock on the door”. R-Mean feels that he’s been putting the work and the time in so it’s time to acknowledged by the world. This video of R-Mean slaughtering the 5 fingers of death on Shade 45 will help you understand why.
