Waka Flocka Says He’ll Never Work With Gucci Mane Again

(AllHipHop News) Earlier this month the beef between Waka Flocka and fellow Brick Squad 1017 member Gucci Mane went public when Gucci sent out a tweet stating that Waka was dropped from the label. While Gucci’s management later claimed that his twitter account was hacked, Waka told RapFix Live that the business relationship between the two is still over for good. “I don’t wanna do no music with him. I don’t want no business with him. Nothing,” says Waka. “I don’t feel nothing he say out his mouth. It ain’t real.” Waka clarifies even though he is ready to move on from business ties with Gucci, the ownership situation at Brick Squad is more complicated than Gucci having the power to just drop him from the label. “I own a percentage of Brick Squad 1017, and I own 100% of Brick Squad Monopoly. So you can’t kick the boss out,” says Wacka. The riff between Waka and Gucci hit the Internet on March 15th when the following tweet from Gucci’s certified account was posted: Waka does not agree with Gucci’s claim of him being disloyal or his team’s claim that the tweet was fake. “I’m the loyalist person you could ever see. I took on a man’s beef, risked my life, hung out the window, risked my freedom.” says Waka. “It can’t be nothing but jealously or something because there is nothing I did disloyal.” “That Twitter wasn’t hacked because we had a conversation before that. Real aggressive words like, ‘Ni**a let’s get up, let’s do this.’ ” The potentially permanent split with Waka is just one of the life changing issues playing out for Gucci Mane right now. The “Wasted” rapper turned himself into police yesterday for allegedly assaulting a soldier at a nightclub in Atlanta. He is currently still behind bars after being denied bond. He punches fans. It’s a difference.” Despite the current conflict between the two rappers, Waka did offer support for Gucci as he is set to face two counts of felony assault. “I don’t wish jail or death on nobody. That’s foul,” Waka added. You can watch Waka Flocka’s interview on RapFix Live below. Get More: Waka Flocka Flame, RapFix Live, Full Episodes

Wale Says He May Drop Two Albums This Year

(AllHipHop News) Wale dropped by MTV’s RapFix Live this week to talk about his upcoming new music. On Wednesday he announced that his next studio album will be titled The Gifted and will hit store shelves and digital download sites on June 25th. But what about the much talked about project with comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld? “I told you I could drop two albums this year,” responded Wale when questioned about the Seinfeld assisted project. The Maybach Music Group emcee did not elaborate more on the subject, like when that album may see the light of day, but he did say he has spoken to Seinfeld. [ALSO READ: Jerry Seinfeld Speaks On Appearing On Wale’s Next Album] While The Album About Nothing is being put on the back-burner for now, Wale says The Gifted will be an LP that will have listeners reflecting rather than partying. “I’m not gonna sit up here and be like, ‘Yo I’m making bangers for the summer, for the club’,” says Wale. “No, you gonna buy the album. You gonna sit there and be like ‘holy sh… I feel something’.” One confirmed artist that will be helping Wale convey those heartfelt emotions on The Gifted is Stokley Williams. Williams is the lead singer of the R&B band Mint Condition. The five member group is best known for their Top 10 hit single “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)” from 1991. “I’m following my heart and putting my soul and my passion into the music. I’m gonna let it speak,” conveys Wale. The Gifted may be more of an introspective project, but Wale further hints that fans could get one more LP from him later this year with a completely different approach. “I might drop another album before the year’s over and that’s gonna be another vibe,” says Wale. The Gifted will be Wale’s third studio album. His prior releases are 2009’s Attention Deficit and 2011’s gold selling Ambition.  Wale dropped his 8th mixtape, Folarin, late last year. Folarin features production by Rico Beats, Jake One, Digi+Phonics and others. The tape also has several guest appearances including Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Scarface, and Trinidad James. Young Jeezy Denies Beef With Rick Ross

(AllHipHop News) While visiting MTV’s RapFix Live to talk about his upcoming fourth solo album, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition, Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy explained that although there were subliminal and apparent friction between Rick Ross and him, there was never actual beef. “With rap, it’s a funny thing. You can say things, and people can take ‘em the way they wanna take ‘em,” Jeezy said, addressing “Death B4 Dishonor,” the 2010 cover of Rick Ross’ “B.M.F.” track that is noted for including subliminal jabs towards the Miami rapper. “But in my mind, in my heart, I just killed the verse. If I killed the verse and you took it personally, then that’s on you.” Rick Ross also took offense to the video clip that went viral, where there more perceived jabs at the rapper. “I feel like the whole started thing from a clip on WorldStarHipHop, and my thing was, if I’m a boss and you a boss, let’s sit down and be bosses,” he said. “You take a clip that somebody edited and run with that? What part of the game is that? If you felt like that, hit me up, let’s chop it up, we bosses.” After coming into contact with Ross at the BET Hip Hop Awards, Jeezy said he didn’t take the Miami rapper’s decline to exchange words personal. “I felt like it was about selling records,” Jeezy said. “It’ not about you about me. We could’ve stepped in the corner and chopped it up. So right then and there, I knew it was about records, so I was cool with it.”
