Soulja Boy to Perform in Africa; Potentially Signing African Rappers

(AllHipHop News) SODMG ringleader, Soulja Boy is set to perform in Africa as part of a three city tour according to several African media sources online. Booked by Swag Family Legacy Entertainment and EDGE53,  Soulja Boy has reportedly said he will be signing artists from the African countries where he performs. Soulja is also already rumored to be signing a Ghanaian artist to his SODMG record label that will also be the headliner for the concert. As well, on Twitter there are several “SODMG Africa” accounts that claim to be extensions of his U.S. based operations. The Ghana edition of the tour is set to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre as Soulja Boy will share the stage with acts from Nigeria and Ghana. This is not the first time that Soulja Boy made headlines in relation to Africa as he made controversial statements about slave masters in 2008 during a BET interview.
