A self-proclaimed exploration of “his dark side,” the seven-track Boiling Point finds Tech N9ne surveying his inner demons with titles such as “Should I Killer” and “Paint On Your Pillowcase.” The visual for “Uralya” conjures images of dark and woodsy, torture scenes: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzsonDJCSzM] On “Fire in AC”, Tech N9ne revisits the tragic movie theater murder spree in Aurora, Colorado in July 2012. And, lending to the mixture is the piano-heavy “Alone” featuring Krizz Kaliko and Eric Boone, a lament on a rapper’s spotlighted but sometimes sad existence.
