M.O.P’s Lil Fame and 1982’s Termanology to Release Collaboration, “Fizzology”

Photo credit: Killerboombox.com (AllHipHop News) One half of M.O.P. (Mashed Out Posse), Lil Fame, and one half of 1982, Termanology, have joined forces to release the Fizzology project on November 6. The wordsmith/producer duo released a video for the “Fizzology” title track on the Internet earlier this month for the new album, which features appearances from Busta Rhymes, Styles P, Bun B, and Freeway. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ixgy3x2h5vc] Initially recorded as a Termanology solo album produced by Lil Fame, who goes by the producer name Fuzzy Womack, the duo made the album into a joint effort once Fame recorded a verse or hook on almost every one of the 15 tracks. To help compliment Fame’s hardcore but soulful beats, the duo also recruited DJ Premier, The Alchemist, Statik Selektah, and J Waxx to contribute production on the project, which debuts on November 6.  

Statik Selektah and Termanology Go Presidential For New 1982 Album “2012”

(AllHipHop News) Producer Statik Selektah has just revealed the cover art and tracklisting for his upcoming collaborative album with Termanology as “1982” titled 2012., revealing a nod to the American Election year. The 15-track follow-up to the duo’s self-titled album from 2010 features production entirely from Statik Selektah and boasts appearances from artists like Mac Miller, Bun B, Roc Marciano, Havoc, Freddie Gibbs, Crooked I, Lil Fame and Shawn Stockman of Boyz 2 Men. 2012 is set for a May 22nd release on Statik’s Showoff Records. M.O.P. Releases New Album “Sparta” with Celeb-Packed Concert in NYC

Last night (November 21) at Santos Party House in New York City, iconic rap duo, M.O.P., put on a star-studded concert to celebrate the release of their new album Sparta. Running through hit after hit, the show, which was billed as “featuring surprise guests,” soared to new heights with each “surprise.” Not only did the night include a short but special set by DJ Premier himself on the 1’s and 2’s before the Mash Out Posse took the stage, once they touched down, they brought out some amazing guests including Black Sheep’s Dres, Pharoahe Monch, Styles P., and more to rock their own hits alongside the M.O.P. boys, Billy Danze and Lil Fame.
