Nick Cannon & Lil Duval’s MTV2 Shows Coming Back For Another Season

Nick Cannon Bringing Back Hip-Hop Themed Sketch Comedy/Improv Series “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out”
(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop sketch comedy will return to MTV2 under the network’s new programming initiative, with the reintroduction of Nick Cannon’s#### show “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out.” The original show, which featured guests like Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Tyra Banks, Serena Williams and others, featured guests and comedians in impromptu, head-to-head “improv battles.” At its height, from 2005-2007, “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out” was one of MTV’s highest rated shows in the network’s history. “Wild ‘N Out” aired for four consecutive seasons and helped introduced comedians like Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, Affion Crockett and Taran Killam to new audiences. “I get asked every day when ‘Wild ‘N Out’ will be back,” Nick Cannon said. “I’m thrilled to announce that the show will be making its long-awaited return very soon – bigger and better. With our show’s original cast, everyone from Kevin Hart to Katt Williams, Affion Crocckett and Taran Killam becoming household names, I am looking forward to working with MTV2 as we work to introduce the biggest comedic stars of tomorrow with the return of ‘Wild ‘N Out.’” “Building on our long-standing relationship with Nick Cannon, we are ecstatic to welcome his creative genius back to the MTV family,” said Paul Ricci, Senior Vice President of Programming and Production for MTV2. “The re-mixed ‘Wild ‘N Out’ will deliver a high-energy, clever and hilarious addition to MTV2’s original programming line-up.” The new incarnation of “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out” is seeking brand-new comedians for the new series, which is slated to air in 2013.

Nick Cannon To Bring “Wild N’ Out” Back To TV!
Nick Cannon is bringing his hit comedy show, “Wild ‘n Out”, back to TV! Kevin Frazier spoke to Nick about returning to his comedic roots, and Cannon tells us his team of comedians will be crazier and more star studded than ever! In case you missed the early 2000’s, “Wild ‘n Out” puts two teams of comedians, the Red Squad and the Black Squad — both led by a celebrity guest — to pit against each other in a series of “Wild ‘n Out” improv games. The show went on for four seasons, and the genius of “Wild ‘n Out” gave several prominent comedians their big break. Who can forget Katt Williams a.k.a. Money Mike?! Kevin Hart, Charlie Murphy, Mike Epps, and even Wayne Brady himself also guest starred on the series. Cannon promises some of the originals comedians will be back (crossing fingers for Kevin Hart, Epps, and Katt), as well as many other new talented faces. Along with hot comedians, “Wild ‘n Out” featured a special guest/musical artist on each show, including the young Christina Milian (Nick’s ex). Since she most likely won’t appear on the new season, an appearance by his wife, Mariah Carey, would be classic! Can you imagine the shade Mariah would give other contestants?! As of now, it’s unclear if the show will return to MTV or move to another network. Are you excited for the comeback?! Source: HipHollywood
