This song captures his mood of fighting through the highs and low of life. With his success from Gnarles Barkley and then the recent legal issues, Cee-Lo knows highs and lows. “Even in darkness” as the song goes, Cee-Lo is still making music and staying positive. After all his success with his Goodie Mob family and having worked with Dungeon Family from the start this song is pretty deep as it shows a traditional New Orleans funeral and pays tribute to New Orleans music.
