(AllHipHop News) Popular 1980s rapper Tone Loc collapsed on stage during a concert last night (October 15).
The rapper hit the stage for a performance in Atlanta, but the performance was halted when the rapper passed out.
According to reports, the rapper suffered from exhaustion and was transported to a local hospital where he was treated.
In May 2009, a similar incident occurred involving Tone Loc at an outdoor concert in Florida.
Tone Loc, born Anthony Terrell Smith, collapsed and had a seizure because of overheating and that incident, transported to a hospital via ambulance.
Tone Loc is best known for his hit 80s singles “Wild thing” and “Funky Cold Medina.”
He has also starred in a handful of movies, including “Uncle Buck,” “Poetic Justice” “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” and “Heat.”
Earlier this month, Tone Loc pleaded guilty to corporal injury to a spouse, cohabitant or child’s parent and possession of an assault weapon, after a June 18 altercation with the mother of his child.
