Birdman Facing Lawsuit From Another Music Producer

CASH MONEY IS BEING SUED BY DVLP

(AllHipHop News) The number of legal situations involving Bryan “Birdman” Williams just increased by one. TMZ reports producer DVLP is suing Birdman and Cash Money Records for missing payments.

DVLP (born Bigram Zayas) is claiming he is owed $200,000 for his work on projects by Lil Wayne and other CMR artists. The New York City native’s production discography includes placements on Wayne’s Tha Carter IV and I Am Not a Human Being II.

Before DVLP filed court papers, he received assurances from Birdman that the payments were on the way. He supposedly has text messages from the label head that include statements such as “I’m getting yu paid” and “I’m work with yu fam… And get yu ur money all ofit [sic].”

Birdman/Cash Money is currently facing a lawsuit from Wayne for unpaid royalties and album advances. He has also been sued by Turk, Jas Prince, Wendy Day, Bangladesh, and others.
