Trey Songz Hit With A Tax Lien For Owing Back Taxes

Trey Songz owes almost $1 million in back taxes to the IRS, TMZ reports.

The “Slow Motion” singer reportedly neglected to pay $748,870.08 in taxes in 2013 and was hit with a tax lien last month in Miami. Trigga isn’t struggling financially, though. The same year he didn’t pay Uncle Sam, he was paying $35,000 a month to live in a Hollywood Hills mansion.

Trey took to Instagram to address his IRS debt by posting a screenshot of a convo with his mom, seeming to have taken care of his debt.
