Last week, AllHipHop.com had the chance to chat with writer and producer Cheo Hodari Coker, about his latest work on the Netflix series “Luke Cage.”
In this Marvel live-action series, a street-fighting ex-con battles crime in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen as the black superhero, Luke Cage.
After a botched experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City.
Is the Luke Cage character symbolic of todays black man in society? In a country full of racial injustice, will the black man have to be like a super hero in order to survive?
Check out what Cheo and the legendary cast had to say about the hotness that is Luke Cage.
