The Queen Bee aka Lil Kim, had a baby shower fit for royalty Saturday night at the Broad Street Ballroom. David Tutera, celebrity wedding planner and host of WeTV’s “My Fair Wedding” helped Kim create the elaborate princess themed event.
Arriving at 8:00 pm in a blacked-out Rolls Royce, Ms. Jones beamed with excitement as she was greeted by a trumpet fanfare, celebrity guests and a slew of onlookers. The nine-month pregnant Kim wore an elaborate, hip-hugging, beaded white gown as she flaunted her belly on the pink and blue carpet.
Attendees included long-time friends Lisa Raye, Drita Davanzo, Juelz Santana, Kimbella, Pepa and also Kim’s protegee, Tiffany Foxx.
Her long-time boyfriend, Bronx rapper Mr. Papers, was also in tow to help celebrate. Lil’ Kim gushed about having a baby girl, saying she & Mr. Papers are “so excited” to bring their daughter into the world.
Although she’s excited about the upcoming birth of her baby girl, the Queen Bee has taken no time off, Lil’ Kim has been in the studio recording her new album throughout the pregnancy .
The posh shower was filmed for David Tutera’s WeTV “CELEBrations,” and will premier on August 1st at 9pm .
