Designed with the sounds of Dilla. We call it Plug Two
On the 25th year of De La Soul’s debut album 3 Feet High And Rising, the legendary rap group is ready to deliver fans with more music than they have in years. Today (March 4th), De La Soul released the song “Dilla Plugged In”, off their upcoming J. Dilla-produced mixtape Smell The D.A.I.S.Y.
The mixtape will be the second mixtape the group plans to release. Later this month, De La Soul are set to release a mixtape over six beats from DJ Premier and Pete Rock entitled Premiem Soul On The Rocks.
The group’s eighth album (and first in a decade) You’re Welcome is scheduled to be released this summer.
