DJ Drama Shares His 3 Best Executive Decisions Since Joining Atlantic Records

DJ DRAMA SAYS HE GOT FERG, PUSHA, & SNOOP ON “OG BOBBY JOHNSON (REMIX)”; PUT ATLANTIC ON TO YOUNG THUG

Fellow music exec and rapper Anyextee caught up with Drama to ask the host of the Gangsta Grillz mixtape series to give his top three executive decisions since joining Atlantic. His first pick is putting together the posse cut for the remix to Que’s single.

“Today we just put out the ‘OG Bobby Johnson (Remix)’ which I executive produced. I put A$AP Ferg, Pusha T and Snoop on that,” says Drama.

Drama was not able to specify his second choice. According to the Philadelphia native, he played a role in a major signing for Atlantic that he cannot announce at the moment.

“When it comes out you can refer back to this interview and be like, ‘Yeah, Dram did say they had a big one,” adds Drama.

His final top executive decision was informing Atlantic about buzzing rapper Young Thug.
