EXCLUSIVE: Calvin Klein Bacote Explains Jay Z's Reaction After Being Arrested + MORE (VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE: CALVIN KLEIN BACOTE EXPLAINS JAY Z’S REACTION TO BEING ARRESTED + MORE (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) When Jay Z uttered that he “never felt more alive than riding shot gun in Klein’s Green 5”on The Black Album, he was speaking about Calvin Klein Bacote’s car. In the first part of AllHipHop’s EXCLUSIVE interview with Bacote, he explains Jay Z’s reaction when the two of them were arrested.

At the end of the “Allure” lyric, Jay Z states he never felt more alive “till the cops pulled guns”, seemingly in reference to the pair being arrested following a fight at a party. The pair were charged with attempted murder, attempted murder to maim, battery assault, and possession of a deadly weapon and according to Klein, Jay Z took the arrest well and changed his life from it:

Our reaction were the same: we got caught. But, he channeled that situation into something positive and productive. Only thing I’m doing now at this point is..it took me a long time for me to get it, but now I got it. So, I’m kind of following the footsteps of those same words and my sense of creating myself and just doing the right things this time around.

According to Bacote, before taking the wrap for the crime, him and Jay Z faced 40 years in prison. Bacote was released after four years and released his first book Neighborhoods Under Siege: Memoirs of a Brooklyn Don this past February.
