JAY Z HAS TWO OF 2013’S MOST GOOGLED SONGS, DRAKE IS MOST SEARCHED RAPPER ON GOOGLE + MORE

(AllHipHop News) There are no quantifiable ways to determine who is the best rapper alive, but there are a few to show who may have been the most talked about. Today (December 17th) Google released its year-end list of the most trending and popular searches in the United States and Jay Z snagged two spots in the Top 10 of Most Searched Songs.

Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail songs “Tom Ford” and the Justin Timberlake-assisted “Holy Grail” rank and #7 respectively on the Top 10 list. Fellow Hip Hop artist Macklemore & Ryan Lewis earned the honor of most searched rap song of 2013 with their ubiquitous single “Thrift Shop” landing at . Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” was also the most streamed Hip Hop song on Spotify in 2013 and was the #1 most popular song across all genres on Billboard’s Hot 100 year end list. 

Drake was the most Googled rapper of 2013 ranking in at #2 on the Most Searched People list behind Miley Cyrus.
