Wale Threatens Complex Media For Not Being Included in Top 50 Albums List

WALE CURSES OUT AND THREATENS COMPLEX MEDIA FOR NOT BEING ON YEAR-END ALBUMS LIST

(AllHipHop News) Wale really liked his most recent album The Gifted and really wanted everyone to like The Gifted and when some did not, Wale went nuts. This past Wednesday (December 11th) Wale angrily threatened and showed his displeasure for not being included on Complex’s Top 50 Albums of 2013 list in a phone call to one of Complex’s writers.

According to Wale, the root of his gripe with the publication is his belief that his exclusion and low ranking on Complex’s lists are a result of a personal vendetta against the rapper:

At this point, you know it’s got to be personal. You telling me it’s not personal. It’s like a bold face lie. To be omitted from every type of list that y’all do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that y’all can omit me, ya will.

Surprisingly, Wale chose the album of one of his collaborators on The Gifted, Juicy J, in an attempt to prove his point of Complex having a personal bias against him:

You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine? Is that what you trying to tell me?

Things turned volatile when Wale threatened to come to the Complex offices and harm the writers:

I swear to God I’ll come to that office and start knocking n****s the f### out! You want to see some ghetto ignorant sh*t?! That’s what y’all promote! That’s the only thing y’all promote from ni**as, is ghetto ignorant sh*t!

Insanl Ahmed, writer for Complex, maintains that after the angry phone conversation, Complex’s request to resolve the issue in an interview were denied.
