On Thursday, April 18th, celebs, press, and industry insiders filled the Times Square AMC Empire 25 Theatres to view an advanced screening of the first black horror film in 13 years, Holla II. The highly anticipated movie, featuring Kiely Williams (“Disney’s Cheetah Girls”, “The House Bunny”) and Vanessa Bell Calloway (Showtime’s “Shameless,” “What’s Love Got To Do With It”), left viewers at the edge of their seats. Special guests for the evening included Vanessa Bell Calloway (cast), Teairra Mari (cast), Drumma Boy (scored the film), and VH1’s Love & Hop Hop cast member Tahiry, as well as the movie’s writer/director HM Coakley and executive producer Monica “Dollphace” Floyd. After the screening, guests were able to interact and field out questions to the cast members and production team during a live Q&A that was moderated by JasFly from VH1’s The Gossip Game. Additional special guests included Camille Irons Coakley (Producer), Trae Ireland (cast), Crystal Hoang (cast), Skyzoo (artist), Moka Blast (artist), and Simone “Boss Lady” Amelia (Sirius XM Radio).
