MC Lyte Teams Up With Reebok To Host a BET Awards Celebrity Gifting Suite

Hip Hop legend MC Lyte teamed up with Reebok to hold a celebrity gifting suite to support her non-profit organization, Hip Hop Sisters Foundation. The event, held at Reebok’s showroom in West Hollywood, CA – brought out over 300 tastemakers, industry executives and celebrities who showed up to support the organization. Celebrities such as Lil Mama, Karma, Malaysia Pargo and Brandii Maxiell of Basketball Wives LA, Rapper Charli Baltimore, Singer Eric Bellinger, Singer/song writer Kevin McCall, Actor Guy Torry, Actor Robert Riley from VH1’s#### the Floor, Actress Vanessa Williams, Laura Govan and D. Woods, were gifted with items from Reebok as well as luxury designers, Yoze, Scrapes and Gravel, Bellargo, Child of the Indig and Defend Paris. Guests also received items from Creme of Nature, Joodj, Nyambi Skin Care, Miss Jessie’s, Christine and Love of Labels while enjoying beverages from Lavish Vodka Cocktail, appetizers from Chef Danielle Liz and sounds by DJ Jermaine the Gentleman. MC Lyte thanked her guests for attending the suite and for supporting the organization; “I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out today to support my organization, Hip Hop Sisters Foundation, we are all a part of larger cause to help redefine the essence of women and girls through unity, hip hop and empowerment.” Lyte said, “Thank you for supporting this movement.” The event was definitely one of the highlights of BET Awards weekend!
