At this past Friday (December 6th)’s Take It Personal, RapRadar boss and Hip Hop music journalist legend Elliott Wilson spoke on the early days of his relationship with Lauryn Hill and how some miscommunication ended something beautiful.
The always talkative music journalist revealed that a lack of funds, “Lame n*gga sh*t and H*es With Attitude made Lauryn Hill keep him in the Friend Zone. The UCB actors Brandon Gardner, Phil Jackson and special guest Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) took Mr. Wilson’s creative approach to getting Ms. Hill’s number and turned it into a hilariously awkward loan application process.
