I heard a lil’ rumor that Rick Ross and friends may have “compelled” Waka Flocka to fall back off those statements he made about people watering down his style. You remember the interview he did with Complex, right – where he basically said Rick Ross stole his style. Here’s a refresher on what he said below:
“That’s crazy [that Rick Ross stole my swag], but what you gonna say? This n#### out here making 30 f**king sounds with your sound. He watering it down, just putting words together that sounded good. S### would be harder if it was the truth…n##### built labels off our sound—like, literally.
You know how many n##### sound like Lex Luger and Southside? I go in n#####’ studios, all their beats sound like my producers. I be like, What the f###? [But] you can’t be mad at something you can’t control.”
Well after that, he basically called Complex liars and that the quote was taken out of context. Uh, right? Who pressed him? I’m just saying…there is a big difference with what he said after. I heard he had a talking to. Hell, his mother is a G. She may have talked to him!
