2wiin Kingz is only really in competition with each other the more I find out about them, which makes them truly unique. The things that make them different from other hip-hop artists. They are doing something that has never been done or even attempted. They are telling a story using their album names and their individual song names in order with each subsequent release.
They have structured each and every release to be read like a book from the beginning to the end. When they release tracklist for an upcoming release, fans and critics can actually be excited to see where the story goes or what the story is.
“We got used to seeing other artists post their tracklist and the only things people got hyped about was either the length of the album or the people featured on it. Artistically, we want people to be excited about the art first and not just the people we collaborated with. Now when we collaborate with other artists they become a part of the art and the story.
We take the art of hip hop and the culture of hip hop seriously and we want to shift the focus back to lyricism, bars, creativity, and just having fun with it. No one wants to hear the same thing. Fans are getting bored of listening to a song and not knowing what you’re talking about. As students of the game we have graduated and only desire to be fortunate to make the ones that paved the way proud, genuinely.”
