Dave East is one of the saviors of New York Hip-Hop. Not to put such a burden on the young man, but the streets are talking. They are talking about New York falling off and who will carry the torch. Clearly, there are acts like Jadakiss, but the newer acts are not giving that classic grit and grime. Enter Dave East’s “Momma Workin’.” The song tells a tale of a boy doing what he’s gotta do.
