After releasing his first two projects, It’s Ezzy & Everything Ezzy, Ezri garnered nationwide attention following his show-stopping freestyle on Sirius XM’s “Sway In The Morning”—accumulating over 3 million views online. He has since had a stellar guest star role on FOX’s hit show Empire and played a lead role in The Land film, executive produced by Nas. Subsequently, Ezri signed with Nas’ Mass Appeal Records and dropped his highly acclaimed debut “be right back” EP under the imprint in October 2017.
