50 Cent Passes Drug Test, Allowed To See Son

Hip-Hop star 50 Cent passed a drug test yesterday (July 18) and was granted more time with his son, 11-year-old son, Marquis.   50 Cent and his former girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins have been feuding with each other in court and in the media, over the ownership of a $2.4 million mansion in Dix Hills, Long Island.   The mansion was burned to the ground in May in a suspicious fire as Tompkins, Marquis and others were sleeping in the house.   Tompkins has accused 50 Cent of orchestrating the fire to avoid her gaining ownership of the contested residence, while 50 Cent has claimed the Tompkins is preventing him to see his son.   According to Newsday, the rapper has not seen his son since April.   “She wants Marquise to have access with his father, but with safety precautions in place,” Tompkins lawyer Paul Catsandonis said.   In addition to battling over the mansion, the pair have filed lawsuit against each other in relation to the mansion burning incident.   In June, 50 Cent filed a $20 million dollar defamation lawsuit against Tompkins for accusing him of burning down the mansion, while Tompkins countered with a $50 million dollar lawsuit.   Tompkins was also granted a temporary restraining order against 50 Cent, which required the rapper to forfeit any guns or weapons in his possession and he must also be at “curbside” when he picks up or drops of Marquis.
