Bell Biv Devoe Returns With New “Run” Video; Announces ‘Three Stripes’ Album

BBD IS BACK…

(AllHipHop News) Bell Biv Devoe is back. The Grammy-nominated trio has returned with a new single titled “Run.”

The Eric Sermon-produced track will be featured on BBD’s forthcoming Three Stripes album. The comeback LP is slated for release on January 27, 2017.

Next year will also see Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe’s life stories hit the small screen as part of BET’s 3-part New Edition biopic. The miniseries also covers Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, and Johnny Gill – the other members of the legendary Hip Hop/R&B group.

Bryshere “Yazz” Gray was selected to play Bivins in The New Edition Story. AllHipHop.com spoke with the Empire star earlier this year about his appearance in the series.

“Michael Bivins is the character that stuck out to me from day one when I heard New Edition,” said Gray. “I was really lucky for them to have me play Michael Bivins, because I love New Edition so much.”

After forming their own separate act apart from NE, Bell Biv Devoe went on to release three albums including the 4x platinum Poison. The set spawned the hit singles “Do Me!,” “B.B.D. (I Thought It Was Me)?,” “When Will I See You Smile Again?,” and the title track.
