SLIM SHADY HAD HOPES OF CONNECTING WITH AN NYC-BASED RECORD COMPANY

(AllHipHop News) D12 member Bizarre sat down with DJ Smallz to talk about his early days with fellow Detroit representative Eminem.

The interview included Bizarre stating he was the person that introduced Marshall Mathers to his longtime manager/business partner Paul Rosenberg.

In addition, the “Rockstar” rapper discussed how several record companies passed on Eminem before he signed with Dr. Dre’s Aftermath.

“I can say one label that we really wanted to mess with that didn’t end up happening was Duck Down. He really wanted to be over there at Duck Down,” said Bizarre. “He wanted to be at Duck Down, and I wanted to be at Def Squad. I wanted to be down with Erick Sermon.”
