Bobby Shmurda May Be Released From Jail This Week

THE BROOKLYN RAPPER MAY BE OUT ON BAIL SOON

After being incarcerated for almost a year and being denied bail five times, Bobby Shmurda may be coming home as soon as tomorrow (Dec. 3). According to TMZ, the Brooklyn rapper’s family has been working with New York bail bondsman Ira Judelson and came up with $2 million worth of collateral to cover his bond.

Bobby’s aunt has put up many properties to cover the hefty bail and his is team has produced a 200-page document explaining where all the money behind the collateral came from. They are planning to present this information to a judge soon.

The 21-year-old was arrested on Dec. 17th, 2014 after he and his GS9 crew were hit with a slew of charges including murder, attempted murder, assault and other drugs and weapons charges. The rap collective was under surveillance by the NYPD and were suspected to be connected to a firearm and drug ring. If he is found guilty, he faces up to 25 years in prison.

They are expected to go to trial on Jan. 11th, 2016.
