Bobby Shmurda Pleads Not Guilty To Felony And Misdemeanor Weapons Charges

BOBBY IS FACING ADDITIONAL CHARGES THAT COULD LEAD TO MORE JAIL TIME

Bobby Shmurda appeared in court Thursday (July 23) to plead not guilty to weapons charges, according to published reports.

Shmurda’s girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau, smuggled in a knife during a June 21st visit and after he was caught with the sharp object, he lied to the grand jury about it. The GS9 rapper now faces felony and misdemeanor charges of promoting prison contraband, perjury and criminal possession of a weapon. If convicted he may serve up to seven years in prison. The Brooklyn rapper has already been charged with a slew of conspiracy charges for narcotics, assault, murder and weapons possession.

The 20-year-old is due back in October.

As for 18-year-old Rousseau, she pleaded not guilty to felony and misdemeanor counts of promoting prison contraband and a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a weapon while in court on Wednesday (July 22). She is to appear in front of the judge again in August.
