Cam’ron Mourns Unexpected Death Of His Girlfriend In Touching Post

The Dipset rap star publicly memorialized the death of his girlfriend Tawasa Harris.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Cam’ron been left heartbroken after the unexpected death of his girlfriend.

Tawasa Harris passed away last week, and Cam’ron took to Instagram to post an emotional tribute to his best friend, revealing they had first dated “years ago”, and reconnected romantically early last year (18).

Alongside an old photo of the couple, the “Hey Ma” hitmaker, 43, began with a message of gratitude for the outpouring of love he had received in the wake of his loss.

“First off I want to thank my family, friends, and fans for their condolences, I really appreciate it,” he wrote.

He then explained his relationship history with Harris, with whom he had been planning his future.

“we got back together a year and a half ago. And I had the best time of my life during that period,” the hip-hop veteran explained.

“She was the person I spent 3-4nights a week with, the person I spoke to on the phone with 7-8times a day, the person I fell asleep on the phone with, the person I spent all summer with, the person that I was planning thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and our birthdays with, the person who put me on to hi-end fashion, my biggest supporter, the person that wouldn’t let u talk about me while she was around, I could go on and on..but..this was really the love of my life…!!”

“Tee I’m truly going to miss you. You are my best friend.. and the the true definition of HOMIE, LOVER, FRIEND,” he added.

Cam’ron brought his touching post to a close by sending condolences to her family, including Harris’ three children, before promising not to wallow in sadness.

“Time for me to get out and get back to it. I know that’s what she would want,” he concluded, adding the hashtag, “#BestFriends”.

Further details about the cause of Harris’ passing have yet to be made public.
