Casanova Discusses Recording A New Song With DMX

Is the legendary Yonkers representative about to return with new music?

(AllHipHop News) Many members of the Hip Hop community are expressing thoughts and prayers for Earl “DMX” Simmons. The New Yorker checked himself back into rehab to address addiction concerns.

Fans of Dark Man X will apparently get to hear new rhymes from the emcee in the near future. Brooklyn rapper Casanova talked to Ebro Darden on Apple Music’s Beats 1 about an upcoming DMX record.

That is the best sh*t ever in the world because he’s a f*cking GOAT and I love it,” said Casanova. The Behind These Scars creator added, “It’s just dope man. He’s a dope artist. I can’t wait. It should be dropping – the video – on Friday. He went crazy on there.”

DMX has not released a studio LP since 2012’s Undisputed. He recently joined forces with his longtime production partner Swizz Beatz and MMG boss Rick Ross for a song titled “Just in Case” for the EPIX series Godfather of Harlem.
