Charlie Murphy and Lil’ Duval have been tapped to host the 2nd Annual Ozone Awards, which take place Monday (August 13) at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami, Florida.
Murphy is best known for various roles in TV shows and movies like Chappelle’s Show, Roll Bounce, Night At The Museum, Harlem Nights and now his latest TV show for BET We Got To Do Better.

Lil Duval A.K.A Roland Powell is best known for his stand-up on BET’s Comic View and various music videos.
“My comedy is based off of whats going on in the hood, and thats pretty much where most [of the] rappers are from,” Lil’ Duval said. “What makes jokes funny are the [topics] that you can relate to. So with that [in mind] my routine cant help but fit.
Artists set to perform include Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Trick Daddy, DJ Khaled, Trina, Fat Joe, Shop Boyz and many more.
Presenters include Rick Ross, Young Jeezy & USDA, Plies, Baby, Yung Joc, Hurricane Chris, Gorilla Zoe, Lloyd, Rich Boy, Bun B, Trey Songz, Lil Scrappy, Trick Daddy and others.
The Ozone Awards and TJ’s DJ’s Annual conference celebrate the best in Southern Rap.
The awards show features over 20 different nomination categories, originated from Ozone Magazine, which was founded by Julia Beverly in 2002.
The show will air on MTV Jams during Labor Day Weekend (September 1st 3rd).
