Virginia-based group, Clipse have officially hit Gold status. The group’s album, Lord Willin debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart powered by their hit single “Grindin.’” Released by Star Track, the label headed up by mega-producers Neptunes’ deal with Arista, “Grindin” topped the charts. This week, the video clip for their latest single, “When the Last Time” follows in the steps of its predecessor by becoming the #1 most played video on MTV2 with 37 spins. Both “Grindin’” and “When the Last Time” have held the #1 position on MTV2. Clipse can also been seen opening for Nelly on the first leg of his Nellyville Tour.
