(AllHipHop News) The on-air confrontation between DJ Envy and Desus & Mero became one of the biggest stories in entertainment on Thursday. What began on The Breakfast Club later played out on TV.
Yesterday’s Desus & Mero episode included the two hosts clowning Envy and the Power 105.1 incident. Desus said, “The number one show in late night was ambushed.”
The jokes continued to fly throughout the 13-minute segment. The comedic duo had a lot of light-skinned quips, and they questioned why Envy “didn’t have that energy” for Mo’Nique and Trey Songz.
“You felt that strongly and your wife wanted an apology, why didn’t you call us that same night? Why did you wait til we came on your show and now you have one of the most highly trafficked, viral clips and y’all trending on Twitter?” asked Desus.
Envy replied on Twitter by posting, “I wish they had the same energy to my face.”
