Popular DJ Anthony “DJ Hollywood A Bay Bay” Stewart is facing jail during his September 18 hearing, when prosecutors will seek to revoke his bail due to concerns for the victim’s safety. According to The Shreveport Times, prosecutors will seek to hold Stewart in prison until his case is tried. Prosecutors said that they have hidden the 24-year-old alleged rape victim, who was found unconscious on the floor of KoKopelli’s, where Stewart, 32, spins on a regular basis. The victim told police the last thing she remembered was drinking wine and water with the DJ on August 2 and waking up in the hospital ten hours later. Investigators reviewed surveillance footage of the club and arrested Stewart and Ron “DJ Ron” Johnson days after the incident. “We’ve had to hide the victim because of threats,” Assistant District Attorney Hugo Holland said in court on Tuesday (September 4) “He already has one charge of witness intimidation pending against him. If some unfortunate incident happens to the victim or members of her family, we will arrest Mr. Stewart again.” Both DJ’s face one count of simple rape for sexually assaulting the victim, while Stewart also faces a charge of witness intimidation.
