(AllHipHop News) World renowned DJ Kid Capri and chart topping producer Just Blaze have teamed up to host a new reality show titled Master of the Mix, which will air on Centric and BET. The reality show, which is being launched in conjunction with Smirnoff, will pit the world’s most prominent DJ’s against each other in competition for a $250,000 grand prize. A number of well known DJ’s will compete for the championship title, including DJ Jazzy Joyce (Hot 97), DJ Rap, DJ Mars (Keri Hilson, Monica, Kelis, Ne-Yo), DJ Revolution, Rich Medina, DJ Scratch and DJ Vikter Duplaix. “Master of the Mix marks the brand’s first venture into reality television and we couldn’t be more thrilled at the opportunity to work with some of the most influential leaders in the music industry,” said David Tapscott, Brand Director, Smirnoff. “Smirnoff has always been a part of the nightlife culture, encouraging responsible partying for years and since we’re working with some of the most influential DJs who control the night, the partnership between the two spaces feels natural to us.”The reality show will kick off at a luxurious home in the Hollywood Hills, before moving to Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles, New York and London, where each DJ will compete in a series of challenges designed to test his or her skills. Master of the Mix is slated to debut on Centric on November 3rd on Centric and will re-air on BET on Saturday’s at midnight EST.
