DJ Klever Captures DMC Title

DJ Klever is the latest DMC World Title holder. The event put Klever, who was born Josh Winkler, against 11 other United States DJ’s. He now moves on to the World DMC Championship, which is being held in London September 23 and 24th. Last years United States winner, P-Trix placed second, while Jay Slim of Cerritos California placed third. Each DJ had six minutes to show off their techniques, at the event, which was hosted by New York City on air radio personality, and Hip-Hop legend, DJ Red Alert. The event also saw the induction of pioneering DJ’s inducted into the DMC’s Hall Of Fame. Inducted were Mix Master Ice of UTFO, Marley Marl, Steve Dee and Jazzy Jeff.
